June 25, 2023 – A HUGE THANKS to everyone who made the 2nd Annual YMCA Day at the Sea Dogs a HUGE success. 1,003 tickets were sold. YMCA staff, members, volunteers, donors and families enjoyed a sunny and HOT day at Hadlock field.

Prior to the game, there were several fun festivities including a YMCA parade around the field where our sponsors were highlighted on the big screen followed by a YMCA video. The Bath Gymnastic team performed and were fabulous. There were 4 children who threw out some of the first pitches. Amanda Drummond, a member at the MDI YMCA sang the National Anthem beautifully and at the bottom of the 1st inning, Patrick Guerette, from the Alfond Youth and Community Center, did a wonderful job during our radio interview where he talked about the Y’s mission and elevated the mission by talking about all of our collective great work and of course his love of baseball.

It was awesome as was celebrating our NNE YMCAs!
