Old Town-Orono YMCA names Scott Wilcox as New CEO

A visionary and unified Alliance of YMCAs leading change, supporting impactful leaders, and developing healthier communities.

December 18, 2023 – The Old Town/Orono YMCA has named Scott Wilcox as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective December 18, 2023. Selected by the Y’s CEO Search Committee following a 5-month search, Wilcox will succeed Deb Boyd, who will officially step down on December 31, 2023.

In his new role Scott will be responsible for taking the lead on implementing the Old Town/Orono YMCA’s new strategic plan. The new strategic plan emphasizes the Y’s commitment to support our local communities.
